Friday

Hill work today. We decided to try doing a less steep hill and do more reps. We did the trail up to TNT hill at AT pase or a bit faster. Otto- 8 hills. Tom, Boldt, Mouse 7 hills. Total of 7 miles for the day.

good workout today. i think we could find a longer hill. it takes about 1:03 to get up the hill at 4:58 pace, I was hoping for 2 minutes of hill work.

still plenty of stimulus though. i think we should have done a few more, but it leaves a good opportunity for progression next week.

my goal for drews is to break 28:12 in the 8k which is essentially my 8k PR.

I liked the workout today. I agree that we could have done more hills if we had wanted to. I hit the last two pretty hard so when I was done I was dead, but i could have done a few more at slower pace.

My goal for Drews is to run through the 5k in under 17:10.

Probably more beneficial than 29th street at this point in the game. It was a good workout. I was definitely tired afterward. Got faster as we progressed. I didnt time all of them, but the first was in 1:08 and the last was in :58.
