we just cranked the first 5 miles at 6:30 pace, then slowed down big time for the last mile. still felt great, i think we pretty much started tapering after last tuesday, i should definitely be feeling great by this weekend. wooha ; )
The run felt good. We went pretty fast but all systems seemed to be in order and it felt good. Jonathan and I had a reverse race over the final 1200 meters and I lost. The 8:30 pace was killing me, I had to go faster. Congrats, Jonathan, you finally found a race where you were awarded for being slow!

i felt pretty good for the first 3 miles. then my legs and shins started to tighten up. icing afterwards always helps though.
