I ran 600, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100 and felt pretty decent doing it. The pace decreased by one second per two hundered after two intervals.
In other words, the workout was supposed to be:
600 - 1:36
500 - 1:20
400 - 1:04
300 - 46.5
200 - 30
100 - 15
I took ample rest between each interval so that my heart rate was down to about 100 bpm. I didn't hit the times as listed, I was both well over and well under on various occasions. Though pacing wasn't exactly my thing today I felt pretty good about the way I ran, especially toward the tail end of the workout.
i have been lacking on sleep, getting on avg 5-6.5 hours over the past 1.5 weeks due to exams and not being able to sleep. its hard for procrastinators during the weeks coming up to conference because of all the tests!
consequently phil had me cut the workout short as my heart-rate was recovering slower than the others. still i felt pretty good. i had fun in the interim of maus and bold running by stretching and hanging out staring at the wall thinking about all the cramming i am saving for wednesday
well it was a pretty easy workout. I have no idea how Otto was unable to finish. we probably ran a little faster than we should have. It felt easy though and we had a ton of rest. not a bad little workout.
I ran 2 borzovs really easy by myself. It felt pretty good but my shins have been bothering me a little bit.
