in the last 200 of both the 600's i was only really trying to hold pace and didnt try to really pick it up. (even though we were actually slowing down and not even holding pace) point being that compared to the indoor 600's i was holding back and not trying to run all out. but i feel this work will be just as, if not more valuable, in the future. ran at pace for much of the intervals, and wasnt totally drained after we got done.
pretty good workout. perfect day for running. felt pretty good throughout the first 600. felt relaxed and it was pretty easy to hit 127. recovered pretty quickly. my legs were tired during the entire second 600. this was probably because of the fast pace yesterday. nonetheless, i wasnt killing myself to run 125/126. recovered fine after the second one. i agree with boldt with regards to his comparisons to the indoor season and the value of this workout.
ran the 600 in 1:32, felt pretty strong. Did the 100s hard. Legs felt fast for once.
Talked to Don, i'll just be running the 800, not the 1500.
