Mouse took out the race hard and gapped everyone in the first lap, the pack caught up to him and rode him until there was about 350 to go when the pack absorbed his lead, with 200 to go mouse got going again and boldt desperately tried to make a move on him in the final 100m but the mouse held him off.

not as good as i had hoped. took 5th, was hoping for top 3. At least i gave myself a chance. took the race out as planned. at 400 the leg fatigue was too great. kramer and fischer passed me...then with 200 haak and keen (almost taking me out) passed me. last 175 i just ran as hard as i could and fortunately held off the rest.
at the 200 i was in good position, with kramer between me and mouse. then i got dumped on as someone kicked my leg and another guy moved up along side me i lane two. i recovered and surged out to get back behind kramer and mouse, but got boxed in again, surged out, then had nothing left when everone started to move with 300 left.
very disappointing day, probably the most i have been in college track thus far. dispite all the problems in the race, i still just flat out stunk. i am very frustrated that i have not had one good race indoors, and have not once felt like i did at the end of outdoors or indoors last year. i dont know what to think.
