great race, boldt took off from like a bat out of hell at the 2 mile mark when he heard 11:30. i was unable to change my pace.

same time as i ran at drews freshman year.

i felt strong, but could hardly breathe the last 2 miles. constant wheezing. need to expand my aerobic capacity asafp.

Went out in 5:35, hit the 2 mile in around 11:30, my right foot has been bothering me and I slowed down when it started hurting alot at the 2 mile. I tried to get going again and bring it in hard.

I could have run faster, I didn't feel dead after finishing. Fun but a cold race.

Overall I think it was a satisfactory day. I ran about 17:06 for the 5k. My goal was to break 17, but I still had a 10 second PR.

I felt good and strong throughout the race. We got off a pretty conservative pace and I never seemed to break out of my comfort zone. I felt really good when I finished and recovered quickly. After thinking about it, I think that the reason I felt fine at the finish is not because I could have run faster, but, I think that I am a lot stronger than before and I am able to handle this kind of work better.

The thing I liked the most was the fact that my last mile was my fastest mile, which is a first for me in a 5k race.

8 miles today putting me at 31 for the week so far.
