A warm, rainy thursday. Jonathan finished his week of exams and ran alone at 6pm. It rained for awhile during the fartlek but was otherwise beautiful running weather. A fantastic kick from Smiths to West Ave.
I believe Hummer, Mouse, and Shop ran their own Hansen Fartlek at 3pm today. Read the comments!

Absolute euphoria coming off of a week like this. I was exhausted but so thrilled I nearly had to puke as I began the run.
Getting the motivation to do workouts alone is very difficult, but the actual solo workout is quite a bit different than a normal workout. I like it, but I like only have to do it once in a while.
I ran the first AT pretty comfortably and picked up hard on the intervals concentrating on arm and head form.
I closed from Smiths to West ave. comfortably but definitely did not push as hard as I have before.
Mouse and I ran it together today. Our legs were feeling fine and we kept the pace quick and controlled. I think this was a nice workout when contrasted to the normal barragement that our legs have dealt with over the last three weeks. A hansen today felt like an easy run of yore. I feel confident that after a pre-meet, my legs will feel fairly set to go at UNI. Thanks for running with me today Mouse, we work well together, I think.
Once again, my legs felt rather crappy during the day. I am still trying to catch up on sleep. Kind of a crappy rainy day but really not to bad. Hummer and I ran controlled but quick. I liked the last pick up. We started of at a moderate pace and finished at a pretty quick pace. It was just a constant acceleration the whole way. My body did not feel great today but I was able to do this workout comfortably. I am happy to see this and it shows that we are working hard but still are strong. Added a little on to the run to finish with a total of 6 miles for the day putting me at 22.5 miles so far for the week.
