A lot easier than yesterdays workout. would have been a walk in the park if we were fresh.
Great weather, about 19mph gusts going west.
My legs were totally trashed before hand, and my right leg is bothering me a bit from the quick and short intervals yesterday, i noticed this big time on the 200s.
good lift and ab-workout today.
the 4 older guys did cold whirlpool
I think that in the end it was best for me to stop the workout early. I was working harder than I should have been for how slow I ran those 400s. I ran a mile for a cool down, and then I iced my shin. Later I lifted upper body. After lifting I iced in the ice bucket again.
Right now I am feeling a lot better. I think the cold I have has almost run its course.
I felt quite good going into the workout. In fact, I don't think I have felt this good in a few weeks. The workout went really well and was easy except on occasion when the wind would almost pick me up and move me into lane 7. It was good that we did a workout of this caliber after the monday workout with little difficulty. In addition, I think practice in the swirling wind may come back to help us in future races where we may face similar situations. Pretty happy with the week so far. All that's left now is to bring the heat on Friday and Saturday.
