I have never run a 400 at practice as fast as I did today.. 3 times!!! It was definitely a very difficult experience. I ran them 55hi, 56, and I think my last one was 54 low, phil got it at 54 high but I started last.

I am happy with the workout but I hope we didn't work too hard that tomorrow's workout will be hopeless.

Good discussion with bold and mouzer, how come I have run 155 in every race since the alumni race?

I'm going to make a conscious effort to get out this weekend and hit the 400 in 54. I want the first 200 to be faster than the 2nd 200.

It felt like I ran the workout well even though I had nobody to run with. I got out too fast on the 1st 450 and came by in 59. My second one was much slower in a 64. The speedmakers felt really good. I felt quick. Then the last 450 went really well. I was able to push myself to come by the 400 at 59.4 and maintain a strong pace for the last 50.

I am feelin good about the upcoming meet. Fritsch sent us out split break downs for the first two meets. The reason I ran faster in the first meet was because I got out faster in the first 200 (28). The other splits were similar. So I'm going to try to get out fast again this week.

I felt good during the workout. The entire session felt controlled and quick and I was pleased with the way my legs responded to the intensity. A workout like this should give the whole group a lot of confidence about our ability to get out and race against anybody. I think the rest of the week will be good for our legs and com ethis weekend we will see some dramatic improvement.
