I didn't feel too good for the first two miles, and then slowly felt worse until mile 6. After the first 40 minutes, however, my legs began to loosen and I started to feel pretty good about running. I plan on stretching and hydrating well today in addition to grabbing a hearty 9-10 hours of sleep tonight so that my body can be almost back to full strength by our 3 miler tomorrow afternoon.
I was pretty tired on the run today. My right shin hurt a bit for the first half of the run but then it went away. My legs felt tired but good for the last half of the run. Maybe that is because they became numb after awhile. I got an eval from 2 of the student trainers today on my shin because they needed to do one for their class. I wasn't planning on getting a real one but they recommended that I talk to our real trainer. They told me to keep iceing and stretching.
i woke up today and my right leg definitely felt a lot better. the running aggravated it a bit, but a lot of stretching helped. i am realizing that the inside of my right leg is what's very very tight and stretching that helps a little. regardless it is still a very deep awkward pain.
the run was very tiring for me, perhaps too early in the day. i think i can do 5 or 6 miles comfortably now, but 9 miles is pushing the limit for me.
I felt really crappy for the first 3 or 4 miles. My quads were just not having it and I was kind of tired. Once we hit Ward St. on the way back from Trane I started to feel a whole lot better. I would say that the last 3 miles felt pretty darn great. We ran the route in 61 minutes. It definitely was a weird feeling to go this long. Its been awhile since we hit such a long one. It went well for the most partl. Later in the afternoon, I felt exhausted from the run. My whole body was tired. I got a ton of rest this weekend though and I felt great after a nap. 9 miles today putting me at 37 for the week.
