I'm hoping that these next three easy days will give my legs the juice that was squeezed from them this week. A great 5 days of work, but I am hoping to feel tip top for this following week as well.
we ran with some of the distance guys this time which was kinda weird. I'm not used to running with that many people. We started off pretty fast. With about two miles to go otto, mouse, and I dropped back because we felt we were going too fast for an easy day.
the upper part of my right leg was bothering me but i decided to keep cranking along, still feeling like it is out of the socket, or swollen inside the leg. the run got going very fast (shithouse loop PR pace), but we slowed down for the last 2 miles. we finished in 39 flat.
i stretched and showered
i then took a cold tub which felt paralyzing for the first 3 minutes. i actually thought that i was going to pass out... well i didn't and it got better. then i was freezing so i sat in the car and cranked the heat, and heated the seats. that felt a lot better
We got going at a pretty decent pace. I felt fine for the most part but it just felt like I was running a little quicker than I should have been. We slowed it down for the last couple miles and I felt pretty good as we were finishing. 6 miles today putting me at 28 for the week so far.
