I went about 6 this afternoon. I felt that I should get in a few more miles because I am not running in the meet. In addition I will be socializing like a butterfly so mileage will be hard to come by tomorrow. Felt fine, the new shoes hurt my feet a little bit, but that tends to happen with a new pair... we'll see if they soften up for me.
fantastic solo pre-meet for me, nice and slow, finished a 3 miler in 20:48. could feel burn in quads and hamstrings from roman dead lifts and squats presumably. getting nervous for race, i want to open the season fast.
we took it nice and easy on this one which was good. I was feeling pretty nervous for the meet.
