there ya go i'm all up to date on the blog. anyway the workout today felt okay for me. i led the finnish in what otto said was too fast, but i was just trying to run them like we usually do. i felt dead by the last borzoz (i also had to use the bathroom). contrary to what otto has been saying i didn't fall 8 seconds behind on the last one. only like 2. otherwise good workout guys just had to set that straight. my foot started to hurt again today after the workout. i might take 2 days off from running to heal it totally.
What an awesome day to run outside. The work out was fine...nothing out of the ordinary. We ran a decent pass, not exceptionally fast or slow. My hamstrings were still very sore from lifting on Tuesday. They were fine once we started with the workout though. It was a good day.
good workout, right on pace. 50 seconds on finnish, 33 on first borzof, 31-32 on second borzof.
I ran a few 29th street hills today instead of the Borzov Finnish workout. I want to maintain a power-oriented training regimine for a little longer than the guys who will be racing a lot this indoor season. In addition I hope to hone my speed for the 400 a little bit more.
I found a stray cat today that was really nice. He followed me around as I stretched before the hills. All of my uphilss were in about 37-38 so I gues that means I was going fairly fast, I've never timed them myself before. Felt pretty good and got in a nice 4 mile cool down.
