I ran 5 miles, reverse rabbit trails, with Tim Bauer! About 6:30 pace, everything felt fine.
Somehow I was awake and chipper at about 8 a.m. and so I decided to tag along with the Distance Team as they trudged on through their 13 miler or whatever ridiculous distance they traveled. I went 7 and my legs felt like garbage by the end. I think it was a combination of using my old shoes, low hydration, and capitol brewery that caused the slight feeling of discomfort. It was good to get up and get out the door, I felt like a million items on the dollar menu for the rest of the day.
I ran about 7-8 miles with my roommate. Nice relaxing pace. I felt comfortable the whole way. Probably about 7:00 pace.
good postmeet run. i felt surprisingly good as we did 5 miles at 6:30 pace. just a little bit of nagging pain in my right foot.
