Good First Meet
The 800 meter run was quite a spectacle at this year's Maroon and Grey Alumni Race. Boldt, TB, and Otto all ran the half-mile race in style and looked fairly dominant in so doing. Boldt and Otto took the top two spots with high 1:55s while TB ran a good 2:01. Everyone looked smooth and strong. Great opener!

grrrr yeah! i ran on andrew's tail for 550 meters, and surged a death surge to pass him at the 600 meter mark. closed in horrible form as i felt the deep burn of this week's workouts and roman dead lifts. very pleased to open the season with an indoor personal record. let the games begin.
i went out a little slower than i wanted to but i felt strong towards the end. i felt so good with a lap to go that i surged too early and then died a bit with like 50 to go. well live and learn. i really wanted to break 2 at this race but it just didn't happen. it just makes me more determined for next time.
