This here is a running log-blog for the members of the La Crosse MD crew. I got some new shoes today and broke those in rapidly out on the pavement. It seemed that we all felt pretty good and the weather was excellent (shorts and a dri-fit) so we were moving rapidly through all of the pick ups. I felt pretty good and am looking forward to the next few weeks of training. Alumni should be a good test for the youngins to see how they operate without either of the old men around.
my hamstrings were ringing with pain today, but as the night went on they felt much better. the workout was short, sweet, and fast. the question i have is, are we in good enough shape to go out in 55 and come back feeling strong? strong enough to come back in 60? we'll know in 48 hours.
this was a good workout. it gave me a good feeling for the upcoming meet.
