wanted to break 4:20, but just couldnt hold the pace. kevin and paul took it out very aggressive and pulled everyone through pretty fast, at least it was for me, at about :64 and 2:10ish. so about where i wanted to be, i just couldnt drop the hammer when i needed to with about 600 to go. just not a miler i guess, for sure not an indoor one.
the 400 felt great, i cant get out fast compared to the other guys, like brad who made the stagger up on me in about 50 meters, but was able to pick up the pace the last 150 and make up some ground on him and hand off in second. overall an ok meet for me, and for the team. got a decent race under my belt and the team got a few provy times.
felt really good the whole race, was pretty much by my self after the first lap. I held an even pace and finished in a 30.6, which is better than i have ever finished before think. I felt like i could have gone faster and I would have liked to be in one of the faster heats. looking forward to the next race.
