The 400s were quick but I felt pretty good during them. I felt strong as we came on to the home stretch on both intervals. The most difficult part of the workout for me was the first 200, I didn't feel very good for it. The second one went faster and I felt smoother and stronger.
I think this workout is a sign that my legs are super prepared to run fast. I look forward to six days from now; we're going to roll.
i was very surprised how easy it was to come through that first 400 in 53, remember that before this season 53 was my 400 PR (with spikes on), now hitting the first 200 in 25 seems very doable.
the second 400 was a little bit relaxed but i still felt pretty strong as we cooled it off down the homestretch.
I ran the first 200 in 26hi 27lo and felt like it was controlled, but on the second 200 i was tapped. i had trouble catching my breath and thought i might be hyperventilating, hitting it in 27 was not easy.
