Monday Barn Burner at Oshkosh
Well, the MD crew attempted to qualify at the Oshkosh last-chance meet on Monday and were greeted with pain. Some things went our way, some things did not - so is life, so is track.

800m Finals
what a pathetic race we ran. all 4 of us were in the back of the pack the entire time despite the fact we covered nearly 50% of the field. when the leaders made their move with 300 to go, we didn't respond until it was too late.
boldt 4th - 155
otto 6th - 156
hummer 7th - 156
mouse 8th - 156

Friday 800 trials
We all made it to the finals, but the times were slow and races awkward.
Hummer was in the first heat and ran the whole thing way out in front by himself. He shutdown big time and still ran 155.
Boldt's heat went out in 60 and turned on the heat to come back in a 56/57, this actually worked out to our advantage as many of those people couldn't tolerate the negative split.
In the final heat, we alledgedly in the 200 in 25hi, then finished that lap in a 57 and turned it into a kicking race at the end. Mouse finished 2nd, eau claire 3rd, otto 4th. still otto ran faster than boldt who got 2nd in his heat.
