KO sat on the pack for the first half and then moved up with about 600 to go and finished right in the mix with the lead pack. dylan got it in third and was able to move into second when he got it to me. i went into first right away and stayed there for the first 450 then two guys passed and tripped me up when they slowed down after getting right in front of me. i recovered and as another tried to pass i hedged out into lane two and sped up to prevent it. kept pace for the next 150 and was able to surge a little at the end to give it to paul right with the lead pack of three. he took the lead out of the exchange and held it till siegal overtook him with about 150 to go.

pretty exciting and fun race. the team did what we were suppose to, but none of us had a race we could really be proud of, except paul who was racing two hours after the mile trials. not sure of the splits since i never was told or asked about them. as for my leg, my legs felt good for about 500, then the tightness and cramping feeling started like it has been, but i was able to finish a lot better than i have. i didnt really help our team out by getting a nice lead, but didnt hurt us either, pretty much just kept it where i got it. which is what the first three of us all did, when we needed to get a lead for paul to give him a chance against a rested siegal.
