not a great day but not a bad day. first 650 was ok but i probably got out a bit too fast. i was getting tired in the last 100m. i should have been more controlled.
it was tough to do the second one on my own. i got through 400 fine but then i just did not finish up too well. legs were quite tired. probably adversely affected by going out so hard in the first one.
tried running the 200's at a decent pace to make up for the sub par second 650. not too difficult to hit 27's.
overall not terrible...but could have been better.
It went okay for me. It was for sure the hardest workout for me yet. I got out a little fast in the first 200, in 27.5. Didn't see my 400 but my 600 was 1:28. I tightened up pretty bad in the last 50 meters. Afterwards I felt like I had just run a race. Did not attempt the 2nd 650 because I didn't feel I could run it well at all. I just finished off with the 200s.
through the warm-up and 150's my shins were not feeling good. i went through the 650 with minimal pain in my shins, but my calves were tight and overall fatigued. on the rest the pain didnt subside so i decided it was best to end. i biked for 20 mins. after to recover.
i think this was just a bad day, im not concerned that this will be a big problem. especially with two easy days in a row. got some advice from mike and joe (pt students) about how to ice and stretch better so hopefully this will also aid.
