Tuesday 8 miler

3 mile warm-up.

BMS

600at @ 2min

poop break

900 @ 2:23 (800 - 2:07)

5min jog, 10min walk

900 @ 2:24 (800 - 2:09)

10min walk, 5min walk

600at @ 2:10

2 mile cool-down

*Later, we realized that we ran an extra 9 meters on each of the 900 intervals. so be it.

Felt good to get this tough workout in. the biggest issue was lung/throat burn.

it took almost exactly 10 minutes for the burn to relieve itself.

the 2nd interval brought fatigue to the legs in the final 400m where adam "duckbutter" kleinmaus had to assume the lead to keep the pace up.

it was good to get this over with and re-break ourselves into this training. though we were slightly off our goal times, i think i felt better than i thought i would. i felt relatively strong on the last 100 of the second 900.

it is good to get into the swing of things. 16 miles for the week so far.

the first one felt pretty good, it was following the run that my lungs and throat were on fire. the second one was a little slow, not as bad as first thought once we found the error in the start position, but we havent done fast stuff since the last time we did the 900 like a month ago. so hopefully the next one can be perfect.
