pretty disappointed with the race, it got out very slow and i just didnt have the guts to take the lead and push the pace. i also and the chance to break away earlier in the race with gabe, at about 900, but waited until about 400 to go to finally move. after i didnt even feel like i had raced, and like i said disappointed that i blew an oppertunity to run a good time.

still some positives to take, like in the next mile if need be i will take it out, cause i would rather die trying, than run like i did yesterday. and my legs feel a lot better this morning. got to get ready for next week, and my first 800 of the year.

i am disappointed with the time, but i have to admit it is hard to be down about a race when you win it, no matter how slow you run.

i took the race out in 28, and then ran a 30, and then mouse took over at 500m in, and then i took it back with 70m to go.

it was basically a workout, there was no post-race lung burn or dry throat, but the energy of the fieldhouse was fun, which again, i'll say makes track that much more special - it's just too bad i couldn't convert the energy to actual speed.

we always run these races like a bunch of pussies trying to wait for someone else's lead off or move, and it takes us to the end of the season when everyone else is in good shape so we can trail off of them or we finally bite the bullet and take it out ourselves. no more.

hey guys i saw the results from the meet. It's too bad you guys didn't run as fast as you wanted to but its only the first meet and you guys have been training real hard. i bet your times are gonna drop like crazy pretty soon.

Otto has challenged me to run a 200m in sub 28 in order for me to get my favorite hat back, so that will have to go down sometime soon. I do miss runnin with the crew but, school would def be kicking my butt if i was running now too. see ya around.

disappointed with the time. i was in 3rd position in the 1st alley...the two kids next to me got off the line hard...i had to work very hard to get in front of them by the cut...thats why otto got out in front of me. after that, we were slow through 200, slow through 400 and just couldnt pick it up much in the latter stages of the race. there was no competition but we should be able to run without competition.

felt very awkward running the 800. i felt very tired immediately after the race. just needed to shake the cobwebs of and get used to running this thing. next week i will just got out a lot harder.
