the ultimate battle, nothing. NOTHING beats a rush like that. running these races is probably yields a bigger high then taking illicit drugs.
the race got out slow, probably to our high-endurance advantage, but deterville ate us alive in the last 150 meters.
now, i can't wait, all i want to do is race an 800. bad.
this. is. track.
Good work guys. I was talkiung to Boldt yesterday before the event and I felt that if you cold run 1:24 at this point in the off season it would show a hell of a lot of fitness. Its nice to see that everyone met that standard, if you will. And a reaction like that from Jonathan Otto - well, it just doesn't get much more exciting for me than that.
The MD crew is looking studlier than ever.
the times were about what i expected them to be. i thought jeremy would have taken it out harder but i didnt mind leading the race. it was good to run hard on in indoor track to break ourselves in. overall i think things went well.
5 miles today putting us at 19 for the week so far.
