This here is a running log-blog for the members of the La Crosse MD crew. Over the last four days of the week, I ran 3.5, 6.5, 4.5, and 8 to make a grand total of 34 miles for the week. I am still doing just base runs. However, the middle to miles of the 3.5 day was quite up tempo. I want to hold off any sort of workout for at least another week. I think my plan is going to be to try to stick to schedule B throughout the summer. I think that would probably be the best option for me.
i hadn't run in 3 weeks, ran 2miles felt great, so i drove to bastille days downtown (last night) and ran a 2 mile warmup, didn't feel too bad, then while i was stretching i felt a tingle in my knee (IT ban), hit the first mile of the 5k right behind JOE BOBBERSCHMIDTY AND MARQUARDT in about 530, and then the IT ban felt like it snapped, i finished the race in 18:05 (about 300 meters short according to joe-bob), but i was pretty pissed off about how much it hurt when i finished.
i am seeing an orthopedic doctor on monday morning.
i also was stupid and made $20 bets with all these high schoolers that i could beat them in the marquette high school alumni 5k at the end of the summer, so i might be in some trouble
