race went out hard, got right next to mouse and just behind the leader after the cut. then the leader put the breaks on and as we went around the corner towards the homestretch i took over the lead. didnt really drop the pace to much as i went through in around 58 with a mob behind me. then at the 400 i began a surge, since it was pretty much a jog till then it was just like an all out 400 for me. after i got around the corner and past the worst part of the wind i tried to drop the pace again, and gaped the field. the last 80 meters was very tough, was just running scared and finished as best i could.
disappointing
made a decsion to let fischer get in front of me. that came back to haunt me quickly as he basically stomped on the breaks. huge traffic jam and lots pushing and shoving. tried to get around the pack on the homestretch of lap 1. came through in 59-60. just came back in 57-58, just couldnt turnover as well as the rest of the guys.
